How have you used the WorldLegacy trainings in your life? We want to know.

#426 Before the trainings, I was just existing, doing my best to get through every day. I had no passion for anything I was doing. I was working as an Assistant Manager at Chuck E. Cheese, and for the first time in my life had the potential to be quite successful in the work force, and move up in the ranks quickly. But I was miserable and wasn't doing anything there I loved. My relationships were rocky, superficial, and inauthentic. I put on my happy face, and did my best to keep anyone from seeing behind my masks.

To participate in the trainings, I took a risk on myself, and quit my job at Chuck E. Cheese, which wasn't going to give me any time off. I then found some service industry jobs that paid me just as much as CEC, and gave me the opportunity to be active in my community, have free time, and work with people I loved. I created connected, open, authentic relationships with my family members, including my dad who I hadn't been emotionally close to in over 17 years. I realized I could have and create whatever life I wanted, so I found myself a beautiful girl, and married her. Together we stand for love and equality in our world.

I live every day with a sense of purpose, and an openness to live and give and make a difference for those around me. I take every opportunity to create meaningful relationships with anyone who enters my space. I live freely, and have adventures and fun, and create magic. The words "I can't" or "I'll try" do not exist in my vocabulary anymore, because I know I can.

I want people to understand they have a purpose and they can live their greatest possible life. People matter, and their dreams matter. We are all connected, one body, and when we live our lives with a purpose, understanding we matter, we cause others to see their greatness and worth. This is the source of unity and love.
