What an awesome, beautiful display of what intentional, committed people can achieve in a very, very short timeframe!
For example, NC 94 started "turning dirt" for the Legacy Garden on Wednesday and by Sunday afternoon, the Garden was complete! The Garden required approx. 23 cubic yards of concrete, 40 cubic yards of topsoil, 15 yards of mulch, over 450 plants, a very large arbour, an irrigation system, etc....
Another wonderful discovery is that people can be very generous with their time, treasure and talents. All you have to do is ask! In fact, these generous people are just waiting to be asked.
I'm so proud to have been a part of this 'miracle'!!
