She came into our lives a few short weeks ago and has left memories that will last a lifetime. I will remember Melissa standing up on Sunday prior to our advanced celebration speaking about her vision for the world. Melissa wore a perfectly matched and wonderfully presented cream shirt and pants outfit. She was as powerful as she was beautiful. Melissa stood up as tall as she could, as short as she was, then, clearly and confidently told us that she wanted to create a place where she could unite unwanted children looking for love with unable parents that would be willing to love them.
I remember Melissa smiling, declaring, motivating and demanding. I remember Melissa in dyads crying about her disappointments, laughing at her nerdiness and stating the prices she was willing to pay. I remember Melissa committing to transformation, to giving and to love - Just Like Me.
Melissa I will never forget you. I love you!!!
