After a long illness his kidneys were shutting down and (after 20 dialysis treatments) he decided he did not want to continue with the dialysis……..basically saying he would rather die than be hooked up to a machine for 3hrs a day 3 times a week and not really see any improvement to his health (he was down to 140 lbs and very weak). We ALL totally respected him for his decision, which he made on July 20th. One of the best parts was that I was able to recognize and accept the beauty in the differences of each of my brothers and sisters, and how we all were being during the entire time until my Dad’s death. To be able to be authentic and unconditionally loving was a result of My Journey and the Weekend Workshops I've attended.
The song says Live Like You Were Dying………..Live Like Your Loved Ones Were Dying..BE at PEACE.
Perhaps they are not the stars,
But rather openings in Heaven
Where the Love of our lost ones pours through
And shines down upon us to let us know
They are Happy
