#428 If there's one way I would describe the Legacy training it would be to say that it was an eye-opener! My life up until the time I did the trainings was great. I enjoyed people. I was happy. I loved my family and friends. But looking back on it now it's as if I lived my life in black-and-white. Black-and-white in the sense that everything could be shuffled into good or bad and right and wrong. But also black-and-white in the sense of no color.
Like Dorothy in Kansas I knew there was something else possible but I was blind to what it was. What occurred for me during the Legacy trainings was that I got to recognize the spots where I have been blind. And I remember one specific point during the trainings that my world burst into color in a way much like Dorothy waking up in Oz.
And much like the story, I was now faced with new obstacles and new problems but they were bigger and more colorful than ever. (Instead of asking "What's my next career move?" I ask "What's my life really for?" And instead of "How can I find somebody to love me?" I ask "How can I impact people with my love today?" And I found my best friends along the way.
I have a profound new relationship with myself and my family and the friends that I have know me now as an honest, loving and powerful man! And they won't let me forget it! Where I was once potential without a purpose, I am now a purpose being fulfilled daily. Legacy to me is not a quick fix. It's a beginning. It's a tornado of motion and emotion, that once experienced can open the door to a colorful new world of what's possible.
