How have you used the WorldLegacy trainings in your life? We want to know.

#425 My life before I completed WorldLegacy trainings was very neat and tidy. I was a successful teacher, had just bought my first house, and was well on my way toward the goals that I knew I could achieve. However, I had a deep desire for something more. I felt stuck - like I couldn't make any headway with this ever-growing longing for something meaningful and inspiring. In addition, I had learned how to be a chameleon. I was great at being whomever I needed to be for whatever situation presented itself. I had absolutely no idea who I really was. Also, at this time in my life, although I would have never admitted it, I wanted more than anything else to find love.

As soon as I took the plunge and signed up for the workshops, I knew things would never be the same. Little did I know how much I would grow and change. Through these trainings and the Leadership Program, I created one cohesive life for myself. I began to interact with my friends and family in ways that were aligned with my vision for my life and the world I wanted to be a part of. Instead of constantly wondering how I could mold myself to "fit" everyone else's expectations, I began to define who I really wanted to be on the planet. As a result, . I have closer relationships with my family and friends. I am teaching at one of the most successful and sought-after schools in North Carolina. Most of all, I've built a solid relationship with myself and I no longer worry about how to make myself "fit". I am who I am and I am loved no matter what.

Now, four years after my trainings, I still use the techniques I learned to maintain and grow my relationships every single day. When a problem or conflict arises, I think creatively and use what I learned in the trainings to examine and explore possibilities rather than limitations. Life isn't easy after the trainings, but things do become easier. I experience less stress and more freedom, even when things are not going the way I think they should.

I would encourage anyone who wants to grow, be inspired, make a difference, or tackle big goals to enroll in WorldLegacy series of workshops. I have this theory that everyone on this planet actually does want to leave a mark and make a difference for others. We don't always know how to go about doing it, but the desire is there for every single one of us. I believe that the more people there are doing the work of figuring out their self-imposed and societal limitations and going after their deepest dreams, the greater our chances of shifting our world. It will be the greatest gift you could ever give yourself and future generations.
