- Fri May 04, 2007 6:56 pm #238 I have become a much more out focused person. I have uncovered, discovered a new contour of heart within which to care and show others their greatness. I show them through their art they can heal the world. They can become whole in order to find true creativity and your true self. (from a poem I recently wrote). I thought I was a giver but discovered I was not the one I thought I was. Now I believe I can truly give selflessly and as an art teacher that is important.

- Fri May 04, 2007 7:05 pm #242 What I value I got out of LP was the tools and purpose that allowed me to create and in most cases re-create relationships with friends, family and new friends. I have connected with people who I haven't in years. The new connection was based on finding out what they want their lives to be about, what our relationship is about and how it gets to be in the future. I have taken risk and gone the mat with the people in my life and more importantly with myself. I now have a sense of pride, courage and confidence in myself and my ability and have made it my goal to seek out the same in others. People in my life have experienced me in a different way and have chosen to take on their lives and their dreams coming from a place of knowing that it's possible. No one has to be stuck in their current situation and they get to create a life worth living. They have re-connected with their dreams and for some have dreamed about their future for the first time in their lives. I get to take that on and as a new way of being. I am now taking on things that I would never have before and operate based on the things that are important to me and support my vision for my life and for the world.

- Fri Jun 15, 2007 8:06 pm #250 During this experience I have grown so much as a person and have been able to take my relationships to the whole next level. Before LP I would shut down and walk away to protect myself from getting hurt and from failure. Now at the end of LP I have been able to take risks in my relationships with my family and friends and have been able to give them 100% of myself without shutting down. Being able to give them 100% has allowed them to see how much they are loved and how much they matter to me and how much difference they make in my life just being who they are.

Our project was created for YWCA in Raleigh (trail and landscaping). You should of seen the look on their faces when the project was completed.....PRICELESS. The graditude of this nonprofit was amazing.
To make the difference for others is what we are on this earth for.

Creating magic again in my life and relationships is what I personally was given. The intimate power to reach other's hearts and empower them to take charge of their lives and give of their souls.

This can not be put into words. The growth I've experienced has been TREMENDOUS! I've learned that I choose to BE the person I want right now. The only thing that can stop me are limitations I put on myself. I am responsible for my life and I now have a clear vision for what I want.

The principles I have been taught are the foundation for my life:
Have clear intention
Love everyone and see the greatness in them
I am responsible for everything


My biggest lesson has been: BE DO HAVE

From a shy, resigned, little girl... a girl who would sit in the back of her class and was scared to talk to people, to give presentations, or be spontaneous.. I am now a PASSIONATE, CONFIDENT, and GIVING WOMAN! I have opened up and I am steaming HOTTT! So watch out world because I am a TRANSFORMATION MACHINE! I am now able to comfortably talk to other people without social phobia. And I LOVE BEING LOUD and CRAZY WOOOHOOO! I am spreading the craziness and was able to connect with my parents in such a way that they have accepted my boyfriend of 4 years and have talked to him and eat dinner with him for the first time! So, I'm bring Risky back and I challenge everyone to continue to touch lives! Love KC NC95

By always looking at what the possibility is, I'm being more open, free and excited. This has shown up in all areas of my life.
