- Mon Aug 01, 2005 5:02 pm #19 During the Basic I saw how much I loved my family but i didnt tell them or show them. I did things for them, but I wasn't verbally acknowledging.

I am not going to wait until a family event to be grateful anymore. I now connect with my parents on a level I never thought possible.
I am open with them and let them "on my team."

The Basic was also a profound opportunity for me to see how little I trusted in the world and to actually start to trust again.
