- Tue Aug 23, 2005 8:17 am #75 As a graduate of the leadership training I continue to see what really matters to me every day. My life has been transformed in many ways, especially when it comes to making a difference in the lives of my children, my husband, my parents, my sister and her family, and all my friends and extended family members!! For a long time I lived under the assumption that I didn't really matter, that if I truly spoke my thoughts and feelings I would be left, abandoned, or not loved as completely. SO FAR FROM THE TRUTH!! What I have discovered is that by being totally honest--LOVE and DEEP CONNECTIONS are more possible than I ever imagined. One of the biggest lessons I have learned is that through forgiveness comes love, honor, and integrity. We all stumble. We all fall hard at times. We all get to pick ourselves back up and do and be something more magnificient BECAUSE of it!!! I lost my job 5 months ago--the job I thought was my dreams. AND this was after I completed my leadership training. The BEST THING about the Legacy trainings is that IT NEVER ENDS!! I live my life every day in the possibility that I am re-creating new possibilities. Losing my job was the best thing that happened to me. OK, at the time, it was lousy!! And of course I grieved over it and made some stupid, in the moment decisions--I'm human!! However, being connected to what really matters to me, I quickly got grounded to my future--one that is full of people being heard from their heart. Now, I am committed to starting my own business--leading the leaders of tomorrow through educational and life coaching. I believe that children are the future. My children, your children, our children. I get to empower children to realize their potential through their dreams. And while they may want the "easy way out", when they see what really matters, ANYTHING is POSSIBLE...just because they say so. Never doubt for a moment that you too can make a difference in the life of a child, young or old.....it takes one moment, one smile, one decision to just do it! Thank you WorldLegacy for giving me my life back and providing a space for me to realize my inner strength, my gifts, and the unlimited possibilities. Together with many others I know we will live in a world that is more peaceful, more loving, more giving, and more rich. With love, peace, and giving toward a brighter TODAY! Cindy
