For those of you who have been "itching" to make a difference in the world like you did with your Legacy Project in LP we have the first WorldLegacy SLP Legacy Project.

This project is inspired by Thelma Horton (NC83 BAM) and Leigh Duval (NC83 BAM). We, the magnificent WorldLegacy Senior LP Stop Hunger Build Team Stand for making a Difference in this world! We stand for abundance, prosperity, peace and the welfare of the children of the world. We will manifest our Stand by raising the funds and logistical support necessary to create 100,000 meals for 4,000 Nigerian Children.

Why Nigeria?
Experts say that Nigeria is in the midst of the worst food crisis for 20 years. It is estimated that 60% of Nigerian children under 5 suffer from protein energy malnutrition. Nigeria children face the highest mortality rates in Africa: one infant in ten dies before its first birthday and one child in six dies before the age of five.

For this project, WorldLegacy has partnered up with Stop Hunger Now (http://www.stophungernow.org). Stop Hunger Now is a 501 (c) 3 non-governmental relief organization that coordinates food and medical aid projects across the globe.

Goals:
Raise $46,000 by March 1st to purchase the food ingredients and logistical support in Nigeria.
Distribute the foods in Nigeria to the children in late April.

Well, we are proving that we can make a difference! 
For those of you who have gotten involved in our first WorldLegacy SLP Legacy Project - Thank you - you are the difference maker. 
For those of you that haven't gotten involved, there is still time.

?? We have raised over $11,000 dollars towards the $46,000 we declared.
?? We have packaged 50,000 meals towards our goal of 100,000 meals to ship to Nigeria.
?? The Energy is contagious. PASSION is everywhere.  
?? The Lovely Legacy SLPs at the February 17th food packing event enrolled the Stop Hunger Now folks into added adding an additional 50,000 meals to our shipment AT NO ADDITIONAL COST! When you get around loving, focused out, motivated SLPs, you just can't help but jump in and give more...
