Are you addicted to approval?
When I went to WorldLegacy I was committed to making a difference in
the world. I noticed that I did not have much freedom around that
though. I was stuck in doing a great job and great work in the world.
Underneath there was another driving force I wasn’t aware of. I was
driven to get approval. No wonder I felt like a fraud, here I am
trying to make a difference in other peoples lives and the driving
force behind it was to get approval.
I have realized, I am a contribution and I don’t need another’s
approval for what is important to me. I also realized I was afraid to
hold other people accountable, for fear they wouldn’t like me. I am
powerfully making a difference in other people’s lives and I
communicate what is important to me, what I need and what is needed
for the success of the enterprise, and I empower my partners. I now
have many partners working on what is important to me. I am the
possibility of Sustainable Communities Worldwide, where Children are
important contributing members.
