NC133 "I Have a Dream" Project

Coming from a stand of unity, freedom, love, and empowerment, NC133
created an amazing project for the Victorious Community Development
Corporation's youth development center in Durham, NC. The youth
development center was operating out of a trailer in the back of
Victorious Praise church and was supposed to function as a place
where kids could come after school to do homework and get tutoring.
We committed to doing major body work on the trailer that was needed
for it to be in excellence and providing it with 10 new computers, a
handicap ramp, closet space, 60 chairs, and new appliances.
The project amounted to about $35,000 and enrolled about 50 committed
volunteers. The work was done in only 48 hours. Involving the
community involved serious connection on my part to bring forth the
vision in mind and make givers out of our community members!

#371 What an amazing lesson in intention! NC133 created an incredible
project in the Durham area at Victorious Praise. They had a space
that was being used for after-school and Sunday school for the
children that was in major need of help. We decided that in 48 hours
we would repaint, put down new flooring and make sure these children
had new computers. We also had a handicap accessible ramp built as
well and basketball hoops for the kids. Everything was donated
including time and labor. When we couldn't find something through one
place we went on to the next and continue to share our vision for
these children. People were so inspired we had 10 new computers and
flooring donated! we are so amazed at the work that was done and
happy to see these children so thankful for what they were given.
